Established in 1989 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, The Cedar Rapids Red are one of the most respected organization throughout the country. Their 9u Red team is playing a competitive schedule in 2023 traveling to play high level tournaments in Arizona, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa.

Their team has 3 southpaws that can swing it and throw it off the bump. Luke Prahm, Colten Cummings and Kaden Young are all Sunday Pitchers spending time at first base and roaming the outfield. All three of these lefties are consistent extra base performers at the plate.

Sharing time behind the plate, pitching on weekends, and playing third base and outfield are Baylor Freshour and Mike Seidl. These two catcher are tough to run on and receive the ball really well for 9 years old. They, like the rest of this team are dynamic at the plate.

Jaxon Dillon, Mason Keeran, Myles Deegan, Tayten Soppe, Will Schimberg and Will Newhouse all get innings on the mound on the weekends and are utility in nature on defense, able to play all positions at a high level. They all are getting it done at the plate for the Cedar Rapids Reds 9u Red Team.

The Cedar Rapids Reds currently have 18 travel baseball teams and 5 travel softball teams. They have a newly remodeled 6 field complex they call home, Triple Play Park, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In winter they use several indoor facilities owned by families that are in the organization and partner with DBAT Marion to get their work in.
